Abandoned shopping trolleys

Supermarket trolleys are the property of the relevant supermarket. They are usually clearly marked with their name.

If a trolley has been abandoned please contact the relevant supermarket direct. This saves time and money and swiftly resolves the problem. The council's street cleansing contractor also notifies supermarkets when they find abandoned trolleys. They will not remove trolleys that belong to supermarkets.

If you find a damaged trolley with no identification at all please contact us by completing our enquiry form. Please provide details of the location.
