Bracknell half marathon
The 2016 Bracknell Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 8 May.
The race will start and finish at South Hill Park Arts Centre and will follow the same route as in 2015. The race will start at 9am prompt.

Entries for the 2016 Bracknell half marathon are now closed.
The organisers will not be taking any further entries. Entry fees are not refundable in any circumstances. The organisers will not be operating any form of number exchange, deferral or entries on the day of the race.
Race packs for all entries received on or before 28 April have now been posted out by second class post. Please wait a few more days for your pack to arrive. If you do not receive your pack please come along to the information point at South Hill Park on the day of the race where you will be issued with a replacement, as long as you are on the list.
Entries received after 28 April have been processed and will have their runners' packs ready for collection at the information point in South Hill Park on the day of the race from 7.30am.
Please note numbers issued for the Bracknell half Marathon are for the person who entered only. It is against English Athletics rules to hand your number to someone else to run in your place.
The organisers hope your training is going well and look forward to seeing you at South Hill Park on Sunday.
Pacers for this year's half marathon
Following requests from a number of runners there will be pacers at this year's Bracknell Half Marathon on Sunday 8 May. Experienced club runners will be pacing around the course at the following times: 1 hour 30 minutes, 1 hour 40 minutes, 1 hour 50 minutes, 2 hours and by popular demand 2 hours 15 minutes.
Anyone looking for a bit of help in achieving new personal best times will never have a better opportunity. Now is the time to enter.

Official race charity
The official race charity for 2016 is Make-A-Wish UK. This is also the Bracknell Forest Mayor's chosen charity for her Mayoral year. Make-A-Wish UK grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
