Coral Reef recruitment event

The Coral Reef Waterworld team have organised a recruitment weekend for anyone interested in joining their team to open the transformed new facility to the public in late summer.

We've arranged the event into 6 sessions (3 per day). Each session will last approximately 2 hours. You need only attend one 2-hour session. You can expect a brief update presentation before you can meet the team informally. Staff from reception, spa reception, lifeguarding, catering and housekeeping will be on hand to answer your questions. Potential lifeguards are encouraged to participate in a fun pool lifeguard training session. A qualified trainer assessor will be happy to answer your questions. Enthusiasm is one of the essential criteria of any team.

Due to potential numbers, space is limited to 60 per session. You can register to attend and receive confirmation of your chosen session.

March update

We're currently on schedule to open in late summer 2017. We'll announce the precise date within the next few months. To reassure the many enquirers, The Coralina pirate ship remains a feature and will be there to greet visitors as they enter Coral Pools.

Recent events

The 500 metres of new state-of-the-art waterslides are continuing to arrive and be assembled on site since our first delivery back in early February. The 5 interactive water slides will offer a 21st century rider experience for guests of all ages. More information about their amazing features will be released in the coming months.

The new roof structure and new flume tower can now be seen on the webcam. The new flume tower has reached its launch platform level, with only its roof to be added. An extra wide staircase incorporates a new viewing feature and the launch platform within the surrounding tree tops will offer riders options for their preferred interactive features within the flumes that will enhance their ride experience.

Reception has been modernised and redesigned for a more fluid entrance and exit. In the reception area, a new café has replaced the old vending machines and the toilets have had a complete refit. Coconut Grove restaurant has been reorganised and its décor upgraded to a modern, contemporary design.

While the work is ongoing, remember you can still visit our other leisure sites including The Look Out, Bracknell Leisure Centre and Downshire Golf Complex.

Leisure services review

Do you use leisure services in Bracknell Forest? We are undertaking a review of the leisure services provided at Bracknell Leisure Centre, Coral Reef Waterworld and Downshire Golf Complex. Due to severe financial pressures on the council, this could result in facilities being managed by a third party operator by early in 2018. A public meeting about this was held at Bracknell Leisure Centre on 5 January.

Car park - important notice

The Coral Reef car park is permanently closed to the public at all times due to the Coral Reef refurbishment project.
