Opening hours are published in leaflets, adverts in local publications and on this website.
We will provide a comprehensive and efficient Library and Information Service for everyone who lives, works or studies in the borough.
We will provide Customer Comments’ forms at all of our branches, and answer all comments within 5 working days.
We will give at least 3 weeks’ notice before making changes to our services or charges.
We will purchase at least 100 new books for every 1,000 residents.
We guarantee to stock the 10 most borrowed authors measured by the Public Lending Right’s Registrar.
We will provide a wide range of stock for loan, at least 7% of which will be in large print.
We guarantee to supply at least 85% of requested items within 30 days.
