If you have received planning permission which includes conditions requiring certain matters to be agreed with the council then you will need to apply to the council to discharge those conditions.
In some instances this will need to be done before you commence what you have permission for. If you have any queries about when you need to apply please use our enquiry form.
How to apply
Applications to discharge planning conditions must be made in writing clearly identifying the relevant permission and the number(s) of the condition(s) concerned or by using the discharge of conditions form.
If you made your planning application online you may also find it easier to submit your request to discharge planning conditions online via the planning portal.
Each request (see note below) should be accompanied by a fee of £97 per request (or £28 where the condition(s) relates to planning permission for extending or altering a dwelling house or other development in the curtilage of a dwelling house). Please make cheques payable to Bracknell Forest Borough Council.
You may submit more than one condition with each request; if you submit each condition separately the fee will be payable for each submission.
You do not have to pay for the discharge of conditions attached to applications for listed building consent, conservation area consent or advertisement consent.
