ListenThe worries and pressures of modern-day living take their toll more now than ever. Often, employees feel a need to air and discuss their problems in a confidential setting.
We want to ensure that our employees have support with such things and we want to be able help our staff where we can.
Our counselling service provides confidential help to many people across the Council. The service is free of charge and is provided by external practitioners fully qualified by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
We make this service available to all staff at Bracknell Forest, including a number of school support staff where the schools have opted for this service provision. (It also excludes teaching staff who have their own national arrangements.)
This service is based on a self referral basis and as such your manager does not need to be informed if you decide to use the service.
