Our Achievements

Bracknell Forest Council is a very successful Local Authority, with many of our services assessed as amongst the best in the Country. This is despite us also having one of the lowest Council Tax rates of any other Unitary Authority.

April 2009 saw the introduction of a new external assessment for local authorities known as the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA), which assesses how well local authorities are performing.

The Audit Commission concluded that:

“Bracknell Forest Council is performing well and is consistently delivering above the minimum requirements as determined by the audit commission, with many of it services being amongst the best in the country. The Council delivers good outcomes for most of its priority services and continues to improve its performance in areas important to local people.”
