What Our Staff Think
We regularly survey our employees to find out what they really think about us, and how they rate their experience of working for Bracknell Forest. It’s a great way of staying ahead of any issues that may arise. And feedback is an important part of making sure that our assumptions are grounded in reality.
* Forest Fact - 81% of employees surveyed agree that they enjoy working for Bracknell Forest Council.
We publish the results of these surveys and develop action plans to address any areas of concern. This has helped us on the road to improving communication between departments and to help keep people in touch with what’s going on inside the Council.
More information about the employment experience can be gained from the results of our staff survey.
All our new colleagues are interviewed after their induction period so that we can identify any issues faced by fresh faces, and we take learning from this process to help inform managers and improve what we do. Recent starters have described Bracknell Forest as friendly, forward thinking, interesting and well organised. A few have commented on bureaucracy and hierarchy, which we are trying to counter as part of a programme of continuous improvement.
