South Hill Park Arts Centre
Despite, or maybe because of, its easy access to London, Bracknell has its own thriving arts scene. A real focal point is provided by South Hill Park Arts Centre. A former country house, South Hill screens independent films, stages a range of theatrical productions and events, daily and year round.

The Hexagon
The Hexagon is a well established multi purpose venue, in the heart of Reading, just 11 miles from Bracknell. It has an exciting programme of events including Rock, Pop, Comedy, Drama, Classical Music and Dance.

Theatre Royal, Windsor
10 miles from Bracknell, this beautiful theatre nestles in the shadow of Windsor Castle and is the only unsubsidised producing theatre to operate all year round in Britain.

New Victoria Theatre, Woking
The New Victoria Theatre opened in June 1992 and fast established itself as one of the foremost theatres in the South East of England. 13 miles from Bracknell.

Bracknell Leisure Centre
Our hugely popular sports centre offers a wide range of activities, classes and sports.  Featuring a floodlit athletics track, indoor sports halls, a high-tech fitness room, a health suite with saunas, sun-beds, 3 swimming pools, squash and badminton courts and dance studio, it caters for all types of interests, at all levels, for all ages. And when you’re done, there’s a café to relax in. Our very own basketball team, the Bracknell Tigers are based here.

Coral Reef
A fabulous leisure pool in tropical temperatures offering fun for the family all year round… yes, right in the heart of the Borough! The Coral Reef complex features a pirate ship, ‘snake river’ flumes, water rapids, bubble loungers, toddlers' slide and pools. Sauna World includes a steam room, saunas, sun-beds and a gym. With a range of meals, snacks and drinks available in the Coconut Grove restaurant, it’s a great place for fun day out for the family.

Downshire Golf Complex
With a reputation as one of the finest Pay and Play courses in the country, the Downshire Golf Complex in Wokingham offers a range of top quality facilities in a delightful setting, including a hugely popular parkland course.

Rated in the top ten municipal courses in the country, the superb 18-hole course is well established, and benefits from the best of the Berkshire countryside, with its firm, tree-lined fairways and lush, even greens. The Downshire’s parkland setting also makes good use of water features, offering interesting and varied challenges to golfers of all standards.

Downshire is a 6,416 yard, 18 hole Championship Golf Course with a Par 73. There are water hazards on 13 out of 18 holes, guaranteeing a challenge to even the most experienced golfer!

Edgbarrow and Sandhurst Sports Centres
Edgbarrow Sports Centre, in its delightful rural setting in Crowthorne village, and Sandhurst Sports Centre in Owlsmoor have been providing sport and leisure facilities to local people for over 25 year. Since then almost 2 million visitors of all ages and abilities have passed through our doors to participate in a comprehensive range of sporting activities.

Both centres offer a pleasant, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in keeping with village life, whilst simultaneously maintaining the highest professional standards, keeping up with the latest fitness trends and technology and providing a great focal point for the community.

The Look Out Discovery Centre
The Look Out houses an exciting, hands-on, interactive science and nature exhibition that offers over 70 bright and fun filled exhibits in themed zones: Light and Colour, Sound and Communication, Forces and Movement, Woodland and Wildlife and Body and Perception. It also has a coffee shop, gift shop, children's play area, picnic area and a 22 metre high tower with views over the 1,000 hectares of Crown Estate woodland that surround The Look Out. You can hire mountain bikes here – perfect for exploring the many nature walks and trails.

Horseshoe Lake Watersports Centre
This superbly resourced, accredited centre is built on a fantastic 22 acre lake open for non-motorised water-sports including canoeing, windsurfing and dinghy sailing.

Both on or off-road, Bracknell Forest caters well for cycling, with quiet country lanes and public rights of way to the north of the borough and the large area of Swinley Forest to the south.
