Bracknell Forest - My Home Buy
The council has launched an exciting new scheme to help buy a home. BFC My HomeBuy is an equity purchase scheme which enables local residents to buy a minimum equity share of 50% of a home. The scheme allows purchasers the option of buying further equity shares in the property over a period of time until they own their home outright. Interest Free Loans for deposits etc.
In addition to specific housing assistance, schools are able to arrange interest free loans for teachers. A lump sum is paid and an amount deducted from the borrower's salary as a monthly repayment.
The loan is treated as a salary advance and will normally be considered for a new starter if there is a long period of time between their start date and the first date of receiving pay. The loan can be repaid immediately or over a repayment period not longer than 12 months.
