Dog fouling

Dog fouling is unpleasant and can be a health hazard. Dog owners have a legal duty to clean up every time their dog fouls in a public place but there will always be a small number of inconsiderate people who fail to clean up after their dog.

How to report dog fouling

You can report dog fouling online by completing our report dog fouling form.

What we provide

There are over 650 litter bins in Bracknell Forest. These can be used to dispose of both litter and bagged dog waste.

The Litter (Animal Droppings) Order 1991 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 places a duty on local authorities to maintain publicly accessible areas to acceptable standards.

Our street cleansing contractor provides a service for removing animal waste. The service applies to all public sites and adopted roads that are managed by the council.
