Junior Golf Academy

The Junior Academy encompasses after school clubs, junior group tuition, weekend membership (group lessons), children's golf parties and school holiday kids' camps.

See our Junior Golf Academy leaflet for more details.

It runs from Monday to Friday after school during term time and at weekends, offering structured tuition for children aged 4 to 16.

Lesson timetable

Each child is provided with professional instruction to learn how to play golf, improve skills and have fun. The team of professional coaches will monitor the progress of each pupil through their development programme. This includes swing technique, game play, practice drills and much more.

The ‘skills for life’ programme is an added element promoted by the professionals through playing and learning. Every young player works in a fun, structured environment and the aim is to get them out playing golf as soon as possible to enjoy the game to the full.

Added benefits

Joining the Junior Academy gives added benefits including:

  • unlimited access to practice facilities during coaching sessions
  • free use of the pitch and putt during the coaching courses (term time only)
  • the chance to play in organised competitions

Once school has broken up, the professionals run kids' camps to keep children occupied and have fun during the holidays (minimum ages will apply).

Golf 4 U Academy

For coaching prices, camps and birthday parties please read our academy information pack. All lessons can be given with the added benefit of iPad technology.

The Golf 4 U Academy offers coaching of the highest standards with state-of-the-art video technology. This allows you to view your swing during and after your lesson. With various packages available to suit you, our PGA professionals deliver coaching sessions based around the Golf 4 U ethic in four vital areas:

  1. Swing technique - developing a sound understanding of swing dynamics to optimise consistency
  2. Short game - an under-practised yet vital area of golf. Learning varying techniques to give a variety of short game shots
  3. Course management - understanding how to approach a round of golf and circumstances that may arise during it
  4. Well-being and golf - treating and training your body to aid the performance of your game

All this can take place either on our driving range, sunken indoor teaching area, putting/chipping areas or pitch and putt course.

The golf professionals are very keen to promote junior golf too. If you have a son or daughter, why not bring them along to one of our junior coaching sessions?
