The e+ card is a wallet-sized plastic card, which can be used in many different ways and places throughout Bracknell Forest.

Shop local and save with e+. The e+ discount directory offers deals and discounts in shops, restaurants, leisure attractions and businesses in Bracknell Forest.

Simply show your e+ card before payment at participating shops, restaurants and businesses to make savings.

Promote your business

If you are a business based within Bracknell Forest, you can join the e+ discount directory scheme by providing a discount or offer for customers who present their e+ card.

It costs nothing to participate other than your offer to e+ cardholders. A description of your business and your offer will be published in the smartphone app of the e+ discount directory as well as being listed online.

Library card

The e+ card is used as a library membership card. It gives users all the same features of a traditional library card. Find out more about our libraries.

Leisure card

The e+ card is used as a membership card at Bracknell Leisure Centre and Downshire Golf Complex. If you join either centre, your data will be passed to our third party contractor, Everyone Active, for processing.

Leisure Saver Scheme

The Leisure Saver Scheme offers savings on specific leisure activities at Bracknell Leisure Centre and Downshire Golf Complex. This scheme is available to people who live in the borough and receive specific benefits.

Bus pass

The e+ card is used as a concessionary fare pass by disabled and older people on local buses.

Proof of age card

The Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) is a UK-wide accredited proof of age scheme, backed by the British Retail Consortium, the Home Office, Thames Valley Police and the council. PASS cards are accepted nationally.

The Bracknell Forest e+ card has been granted PASS accreditation. It is a reliable proof of age, available free to those who live, study or work in the borough.

Having an e+ PASS card means you can prove your age without having to carry a passport or driving licence.

Rewards for recycling

If you live in Bracknell Forest, 1 adult member of the household can register your address for the recycling incentive points. You will gain reward points each time you correctly recycle using your blue bin.

Incentive points can be redeemed for a range of rewards across borough leisure and library sites, green rewards, or donated to currently nominated local good causes.

Organ donor register

When you register for an e+ card, you have the chance to register your details with the Organ Donation and Transplantation service at the same time.

You will be asked to give your consent for the council to share your personal data with the NHS Blood and Transplant Service.

Your e+ card will show the organ donor logo.

The NHS Blood and Transplant Service will register you according to the preferences you select. They will write to you directly, sending an organ donor card and notification of the details they have registered.

If you later decide you wish to remove yourself from the register, you will need to contact NHS Blood and Transplant directly.

R-bus journeys

R-bus community transport journeys are managed through your e+ account. R-bus passengers can check their current journey balance online at any time and make sure they are in credit.

BFC My Choice

BFC My Choice applicants reaching the top of the housing register who have no photo ID and no address proof, can be issued with an e+ card through the housing team.

When bidding for properties the cardholder can show their e+ card to potential landlords proving they are the person eligible to sign the lease.
