Recycling Sites

The Council maintains 36 public recycling sites located throughout the Borough and these sites are all monitored weekly. Among the materials residents can recycle are?

glass bottles and jars (please take care not to mix colours, but if you’re unsure, for example, you have a blue bottle, these can be put in the green glass container),
paper and card
books, CDs and DVDs
cans and plastic bottles (please remove lids),
shoes, clothes and other textiles

If you find a recycling container is full at a recycling site, please contact Customer Services. Please do not leave any recyclables, or any other rubbish, on the ground at any recycling site as this is an offence and could lead to prosecution and fines of up to £20,000.
