The Council will maintain and repair:
Highway Retaining Walls
Walls greater than 1.5m height supporting the highway.
Wing Walls
Walls retaining land that has been excavated in cutting to form parapet walls on bridges.
Walls
Walls providing a safety barrier for example a steep drop at the other side of the wall.
Where walls have been built as part of a private development then the Council may not maintain these walls.
