No, because the amount of energy lost through the windows is nominal compared to other parts of the house. A typical price would be around £3,000. It would take on average of 60 years to offset this cost when considered in relation to the energy saved.
An average of 35% of heat is lost through the walls, being a larger area which can be insulated at a lower price, typically around £300. These costs can be recouped after about four years.
