Keeping you informed
In the event of a major incident, or the Council receiving intelligence of an imminent incident, it is of consummate importance that critical instructions and information may be communicated from the Council’s Emergency Operations Centre to local businesses and the general public. The Bracknell Forest Borough Council web pages would be updated regularly with up to date information and advice in the event of an emergency. The Council will also liaise closely with the media; local newspapers and radio in order to ensure that the information published/broadcasted is as consistently accurate as possible. Thames Valley Police and the Royal Berkshire Fire Service’s websites will function in a similar manner, and should be looked to for up-to-the-minute information and instruction.
