What does the Emergency Planning Unit do?
The Emergency Plan has the following objectives:
- To ensure a combined response to any emergency situation
- To be flexible enough to cater for all situations
- To identify and describe response activation and escalation procedures
- To identify roles and responsibilities
- To identify functions and resources
- To be current and feasible
- To satisfy legal obligations
The Emergency Planning Officer has developed the Bracknell Forest Borough Council Emergency Plan in order that it satisfies all the above objectives.
