How Do I Report an Incident?

The Incident Contact Centre (ICC), set up as a joint venture between Local Authorities and the HSE in Caerphilly on 1st April 2001, allows reports to be made to one central point, regardless of where the accident happened. The incident report will then be forwarded to the relevant authority.

Incidents can be reported by:

  • Telephoning the ICC – you do not need to fill in a report form. A copy of the report will be sent to you.
  • Post and Fax – paper copies of the RIDDOR form can be sent straight to the ICC (or to your Local Authority to forward)
  • Interactive form on the RIDDOR website – a copy will be sent to you for your records

Contact details for the ICC can be found on the right.
