Tree Service Standards
Your Enquiry
When your enquiry or request for service has been received by the team you will receive an acknowledgement letter with a unique reference number (please make a note of this number if you contact the council to check on progress). The letter will also inform you of which tree officer will be dealing with your enquiry.
The tree officer will carry out an inspection of the tree(s) and will respond to you either by telephone or in writing, advising you of the result of the inspection and any recommendations.
Response Times
Response times are affected by the nature of the problem reported; however you should receive an acknowledgement of your enquiry within two days of its receipt.
The council aims to respond to specific problems items within the following times:
