Licensing Applications Received

Anyone wishing to object to an application must make 'representations' to the licensing authority. Only the police may make representations against a 'personal' or 'conversion' application. Local residents, businesses and those that represent them (as well as all of the relevant authorities) may make representations against 'new' and 'variation' applications.

Any representations must be made to the licensing team by no later than the 'closing date'. The licensing authority is not permitted to accept representations made after this date.

For representations to be relevant they must relate to the likely effect of the grant of the application on the promotion of at least one of the licensing objectives. The four licensing objectives are the prevention of crime and disorder; public safety; the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

Representations by email should be addressed to licence.all@bracknell-forest.gov.uk and include the licence reference number. You can also make a representation online.

Should you require any further information, please contact a member of the licensing team on 01344 352000.
