Why choose a Bracknell Forest official search?
If you choose to have an official search carried out by us, we can offer:

We are members of the National Land and Information Service (NLIS). We are able to receive and return searches electronically leading to an average search turnaround of 4 working days or less.
- Helpful and experienced staff
The Local Land Charges service is run by professional staff who know the area. Each relevant question is answered formally and searches are certified and returned promptly. Any queries can usually be dealt with immediately by phone or email.
- A proactive approach
Sometimes it is not possible to register a search as the fee may be incorrect, a plan may be missing or the site plan may be unclear. We aim to sort these problems out by phone and continue the search to avoid any unnecessary delay.
Please be aware that we cannot answer any queries arising from searches under-taken by personal search agencies. These are not official searches and therefore are not covered by the Council’s comprehensive accuracy and insurance policies. If your agent has used a personal searcher on your behalf you will need to contact them directly.
