Development plan documents (DPDs) contain the statutory policies and proposals that guide development in the borough.
We prepare these documents through a continuous process of community and stakeholder involvement. They are also independently examined by an inspector.
The following development plan documents are identified in the Local Development Scheme.
- Bracknell Forest Borough Core Strategy - this was adopted in February 2008
- Site Allocations DPD - preparation is underway
- Land north of Whitegrove and Quelm Park Area Action Plan - this is now being progressed as the Warfield SPD.
- Amen Corner Area Action Plan - this was progressed as the Amen Corner SPD and was adopted in March 2010.
- Development Management – the issues covered by this DPD will now be addressed in September 2011 following examination of the Site Allocations DPD.
