Land north of Whitegrove and Quelm Park AAP Stages
The Land North of Whitegrove and Quelm Park Area Action Plan (AAP) will follow a number of stages during its production. Each stage will also be accompanied by a sustainability appraisal to assess and guide the development of the AAP. This will also be available for consultation. The stages of production are:
Pre-production

| Publication of draft submission document – this will take into account representations from the public participation stage. The document will present finalised policies, a proposals map and an infrastructure plan. Formal representations will be sought on the soundness of the document | January – February 2010 |

Submission

| Submit the area action plan, representations on the plan, sustainability appraisal report and proposals map to the Secretary of State | May 2010 |
Examination
| Document | Timescale |
| During this period a government inspector considers the plan and decides if it has been correctly prepared and is an appropriate plan for the area. The inspector issues a report including recommendations which are binding on the Council. | September– October 2010 |
Adoption
