Development Plan Documents
Development Plan Documents (DPDs) contain the statutory policies and proposals that guide development in the borough. Their preparation is undertaken through a continuous process of community and stakeholder involvement, and they will be subject to independent examination in front of an inspector.
The Development Plan Documents identified in the Local Development Scheme, which covers the period September 2008 to August 2011, are:
- Bracknell Forest Borough Core Strategy - adopted in February 2008
- Amen Corner Area Action Plan - underway
- Development Management – Housing and Commercial Policies and Sites - underway
- Land north of Whitegrove and Quelm Park Area Action Plan - underway
- Development Management – Environmental, Recreation and Transport Policies and Sites - starts May 2010
