Statement of Community Involvement

Community involvement is an important part of the planning process. The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out the Borough Council’s standards to be achieved in involving the local community in the preparation, alteration and continuing review of all planning policy documents and planning applications.
The vision for the Statement of Community Involvement is:
“To give all people the opportunity to be engaged in the local planning process which shapes the environment of Bracknell Forest Borough”
The Bracknell Forest Borough Statement of Community Involvement was adopted by the Council on 12 July 2006. The adopted version of the SCI is available to download on the right, along with the adoption statement and the Inspector’s Report.
