Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document

Bracknell Forest Borough Council adopted its Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) in July 2007.
The consultation on the Parking Strategy - Issues and Options document ended on 4 November 2005. Residents of the Borough were asked to complete a questionnaire giving their views about parking for new development, and whether residents without cars find it easy or difficult to access services such as doctors' surgeries and shops. They were also asked how new business development should contribute to improving transport in the Borough.
In line with regulation 17 of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 2004, the draft SPD was given publicity and comments were invited to be made between Monday 15 January 2007 to Monday 19 February 2007. The document was adopted at a meeting of the Executive of Bracknell Forest Borough Council on 24 July 2007. It can be downloaded, along with other related information, below:
