The final South East Plan was published in May 2009. Section B of this plan includes a specific Thames Basin Heaths Policy NRM6 (Natural Resource Management 6). This policy was drawn up following the report of an independent technical assessor who examined all of the evidence on Special Protection Area. The draft policy was subject to consultation when the Secretary of State published her proposed changes.
