Bus Pass for people over 60 years old and disabled people
Bus passes are included on the e+ smartcard. Therefore, it you already hold an e+ smartcard, we may be able to process your application for a bus pass by telephone on 01344 352000. This will only apply if your name and address has not changed, your photograph remains a true likeness and your date of birth has already been verified. If you do not hold an e+ smartcard you will need to apply for one. Please visit our How do I get an e+ card? page.
If you are disabled, you will need to bring your documentary proof of disability into our Time Square Council office to complete your application. Please contact us on 01344 352000 to discuss which documentary proofs you need to bring.
Your e+ bus pass lasts for up to five years. We will write to you at the address on our records just before it is due to expire to remind you. It may be possible to renew by telephone instead of visiting one of the places where passes are issued. This will only apply if your name and address are the same and your photograph remains a true likeness. If you are unsure, please contact us on 01344 351200.
This Council offers a subsidised railcard as an alternative to a bus pass to the over 65s and disabled people. These railcards gives holders a third off most standard and first-class rail fares across Great Britain for a whole year. Currently the subsidised cost of a Senior Railcard is £8, and the subsidised cost of renewing a Disabled Persons Railcard is £3.70.
