School Travel Plans - Strategies
The Education and Inspections Act 2006 places a duty on local authorities to promote sustainable travel to school. The Council is in the process of developing a strategy to comply with this duty. At this stage we have a work-in-progress document, which requires further work and full consultation. However, we are publishing the work we have undertaken so far to comply with a requirement of the Act. This work-in-progress document can be downloaded using the link on the right of this page.
