Waste and Recycling
Bracknell Forest Council’s Waste and Recycling Team manages external contracts to ensure collection, recycling and disposal of household rubbish in the borough. This includes collection of bulky household items and clinical waste collection.
The Council operates Alternate Bin Collections (ABC). One week recyclables and garden waste are collected and on the alternate week rubbish for landfill is collected. Find out which zone you live in and when your collection is due from LocalView.
* Bracknell Forest residents can now mix all their kerbside recycling in their blue wheelie bins
The Council provides 39 recycling sites throughout the borough where residents can recycle a variety of materials. Home composters are also available at subsided rates, or free of charge, if residents request a smaller wheelie bin.
