Please do not put bricks, rubble, stones, soil, tree stumps, branches over 3 inches (7.5cm) in diameter or over 4ft (1.2m) in length, any fruit or vegetables (including peelings), general rubbish, plastic pots or trays, glass, metal or any animal wastes.
Please note: We will only empty brown bins purchased from us, currently the charge is £30.75 and there is no additional charge for emptying. The council is to consider a proposal, as part of next year's budget review process, to introduce an annual servicing charge of £26 by way of contribution towards the cost of the garden waste collection scheme.
Subject to agreement the proposal is that the charge would apply to all households who buy their bin from 5 December 2011.
