Civic Amenity Centre at Longshot Lane
The Civic Amenity Site or Household Waste Recycling Centre at Longshot Lane is run by the Waste Recycling Group (WRG) as part of the re3 contract. It is provided for residents from Wokingham and Bracknell Forest and consists of a waste transfer station and a public tipping area.

Redevelopment and Improvement Works
Major improvement works at the site started on 31 March 2008 and are scheduled to continue until the end of June 2009. Opening times during the construction period will be:

Important notices
- Unfortunately, householders will not be able to use vans to deposit waste at Longshot Lane during the construction period. 4x4 vehicles will still have access to the site. However, please note that 6ft (1.95m) height barriers are in place at the site.
- If you require assistance please ask. Site staff are here to help you. All members of staff have been trained in manual handling techniques, and have been instructed to lift only items of weights and dimensions that do not put their health and safety at risk. Therefore, staff may not be able to help you unload large or awkward items. We hope you appreciate and support our efforts to ensure that the health and safety of our staff, who are serving your local community, are protected.

The much needed improvements to modernise the facilities will include changing the layout of the site for better access and providing covered bays for residents to unload their vehicles. Recycling facilities will also be improved. For more information about the redevelopment, visit www.re3.org.uk
The facility is part of a joint waste disposal contract between Bracknell Forest, Reading and Wokingham councils and their contractor, the Waste Recycling Group (WRG). The 25-year contract is known as re3. Please visit re3's website for a list of what you can recycle at Longshot Lane. All re3 partners and WRG are committed to minimising waste and recycling as much of the rubbish brought to the civic amenity site as possible and have to achieve statutory government recycling targets.
