Height Barriers
6ft (1.95m) height barriers were installed in 2002 to deter traders from using the Civic Amenity Site at Longshot Lane without payment outside the weighbridge opening times. This has been effective in reducing the amount of trade waste illegally deposited at the site. It accounted for 10% of waste before 2002.
Important Notice
Traders are not able to use the site at Longshot Lane during the period of redevelopment. Some larger vehicles, such as vans and 4x4s, are also affected. For more information about alternative arrangements, please visit the re3 website or call 0800 9883023.
