Go off with a bang at Foxy's fireworks

Edgbarrow Sports Centre will go off with a bang on Sunday, November 4, with the return of Foxy’s Firework Spectacular.

As well as the annual firework display, there is a bouncy castle, soft play and trampolining for children as well as a family disco - all supported by the centre’s mascot Foxy.

For adults the Time Out café bar will be selling hot and cold drinks and snacks. The Be Active gym will have amazing joining offers and will be open for viewing, with further information on fitness classes available.

Cllr Iain McCracken, executive member for culture, corporate services and public protection, said: “Edgbarrow’s annual fireworks extravaganza is a great event for all the family.

"There are so many activities going on at the centre that there really is something for all the family to enjoy. It is a fabulous way to enjoy Guy Fawkes Night in a safe environment."

Doors open at 5pm, and the 20-minute firework display to music will start at 6.30pm.

Advance tickets cost £19.00 for a family of two adults and up to two children, £7.00 for adults and £4.00 for concessions. Further discounts are available for leisure centre members, while tickets will cost slightly more if bought on the night.
