Binfield

Children and families in Binfield now have access to extended services through their local school. There is only one school in this cluster:

Extended services on offer locally include:

  • A wide range of out of school activities for children and young people including after school craft club at Binfield library
  • Summer activity week for young people aged 11 plus at Binfield primary school from 4th –  8th August 2008
  • A weekly coffee drop in for parents 7 carers at Binfield library at 9.00am on Monday mornings (term time)
  • Parent support sessions such as improving children’s self esteem, living with teenagers
  • Access to local childcare

There is a three year plan for the area, detailing current and future work (see right). The Area Steering Group (ASG) oversees the plan, and the local work. See the first page of the plan for details of who sits on the group.
