Children and families in Great Hollands, Hanworth and Birch Hill now have access to extended services through their local schools. The schools in the cluster are:
Extended services on offer locally include:
- A wide range of out of school activities for children and young people including karate, games club and first aid.
- Drop in youth club at Birch Hill Community Centre.
- Weekly senior citizen’s lunch clubs.
- A range of fun family learning sessions.
- Support for parents through a range of parenting workshops.
- Access to Family Support Advisers at all schools in the cluster.
- Access to local childcare
There is a three year plan for the area, detailing current and future work (see right). The Area Steering Group (ASG) oversees the plan, and the local work. See the first page of the plan for details of who sits on the group.
