15/02/05 - Tony Bradman

Bracknell libraries are pleasurably anticipating a visit from the prolific and highly thought of writer of children’s books, Tony Bradman.
Many parents will know of and be thankful for his series of books about “Dilly the dinosaur”, who suffered some of the same situations that their growing children faced.
Tony has written many other books in addition to this series and is also well known as an anthologist. Many of the anthologies have become extremely popular in their own right and include titles such as, “fantastic Space stories”, “Football fever”, “Phenomenal future stories”, etc.
Tony will be talking about his work, answering questions from the audiences and signing copies of some of his books which will be on sale on the day of his visit, which is FEBRUARY 15th.
Tony’s first appearance of the day will be at Bracknell Central library from 10.30-11.30am. From there he will be going to Whitegrove library from 12.00-1.00, and lastly but by no means least will be the session at Harmanswater library from 2.30-3.30pm.
Bracknell library has places for 50 children between 7-11 years old, Whitegrove and Harmanswater for 30 children each.
The tickets are sold at £1.00 and may be bought from the host libraries from, approximately, two weeks before the event until they are sold out.
We apologise for having to limit the numbers in this way but we are obliged to in order to make the day safe and comfortable for everyone.
