Bookstart Packs
How do I receive my pack?
The Bookstart programme involves gifting free Bookstart packs to babies between 0-12 months, Bookstart + for toddlers 18-30 months and My Bookstart Treasure Chest for children aged 3 years. The first pack is gifted by your health visitor. Subsequent packs may be collected from your local library. Please bring your child’s red health book with you.
Booktouch packs are for blind and partially sighted children of 0-4 years and Bookshine packs are for deaf children of 0-4 years. Visit the Bookstart website or ask your health visitor for more details.
What's in a Bookstart pack?
- Two books
- Colouring materials (excluding the baby pack)
- Information on sharing books with babies
- Local library information
