Digging Up The Past
Fossils
Fossils tell us a lot about life on the Earth millions of years ago. Some of the earliest fossils are 4 billion years old! Most fossils were formed from hard parts of animals, such as shells or bones. Sometimes fossilized footprints have been found. This website focuses on two types of fossils, vertebrate and invertebrate animals, and where to find them.
Try the fun and games page! Here we have a simulation for all you going-to-be paleontologists! We also have a few word searches and a few jokes too! This page was partly made from a downloadable word search page and partly by us! Have fun!!
