Ascot Heath Library opened in its present location in part of the old Ascot Heath Infant School in 1989. The building includes the Community Centre providing nurseries and activities for local residents. It is a library for the local community, welcoming and serving all age groups.

Ascot Heath Film Group

The Ascot Heath Film Group meets on the last Thursday of the month between 7.30pm - 8.30pm in the library. We meet to discuss a DVD that we have all watched during the previous month. The group is currently full, however, if you are interested in joining please contact the library as we may start a second group.

Since starting we have watched or will watch the following films:

  • December 2011/January 2012 – “The Boat that Rocked”
  • November 2011 – “The Kite Runner”
  • October 2011 – “The Changling”
  • September 2011 – “The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas”
  • August 2011 – “A Bunch of Amateurs”
