Knitting at Crowthorne Library
On the last Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 3.30pm we have a new knitting group for all who would like to knit together, get advice or exchange wool and tips. If you enjoy knitting or sewing, or would like to learn something new, drop in to the group which will be meeting at Crowthorne Library once a month. Please let library staff know if you are interested.
Using the internet for family history research
Join us at Crowthorne Library and learn how to research your family history using websites such as Find my past and Ancestry.com. Our sessions, which take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, are suitable for beginners as well as family historians who have a particular query related to using the internet. Places should be booked. Our next session is on Tuesday 21 February and will be run by Peter Beavan.

Online resource for learner drivers
Anyone who is learning to drive can practise for the driving theory test through their local library.
Theory Test Pro provides a highly realistic online simulation of the UK's driving theory test. It contains the entire official test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code.
Access is free for library members who either call in to any of Bracknell Forest Libraries or want to use it at home. Sign up to take practice driving theory tests by visiting the Theory Test Pro website.
If you don't have a library membership you can obtain one easily by visiting your local Bracknell Forest library. More information is available on the Library Membership and Borrowing page.
Become a Facebook fan of Bracknell Forest Library and Information Service and interact, digest and be involved in a world of books, multi-media and information. Within the Facebook pages is an online book group, in which users can share opinions and write reviews of a designated book. Through Facebook, find out the latest events, activities and information from all nine Bracknell Forest libraries. This is more than a gateway but a virtual world in which you can search, renew and request all your favourite items from Bracknell Forest Library and Information Service.
To be an active part of the library, set up a Facebook account and click the Like button on www.facebook.com/bracknell.library.
