The Bracknell Forest Governors' Association (BFGA) was set up in 2004 to provide governors and governing bodies with an independent voice on governance. To help achieve its aims, the Association is affiliated to the  National Governors' Association  (NGA). Membership entitles the Association to various services. One of these is to give governors a voice at national level.
