Online Application for School Admissions
Primary School Places for 2009/2010
If your child’s date of birth is on or between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2005 then you should register to receive an application form. You can do this by completing the Primary Admissions Registration Form or by contacting the School Admissions Team.
An application pack will be sent in November 2008 to all those who have registered. You should either complete and return the form by 30 January 2009 or apply online.The online application site will be open from 7 November 2008 to 23 January 2009.
An offer of a school place for your child will be sent by post on 24 April 2009
Secondary School Places for September 2009
If you wish to apply to transfer your child from primary to secondary school in September 2009 and you are a Bracknell Forest resident with your child attending a local school then you will receive a Common Application Form in September 2008 on which to apply. You can apply online by following the instructions in the booklet. You must wait until you receive this information as it will contain a number unique to your child which you will need in order to log on to the site. The site will not be open until 10 September 2008.
If you are a Bracknell Forest resident whose child is in an independent fee paying school then you should contact the School Admissions Team if you wish to receive a form to apply for a state school; this includes grammar schools. This will not automatically be sent to you
