Bracknell Forest Council is committed to supporting all school governors at its schools to ensure that they have the knowledge, skills and support necessary to carry out their roles and responsibilities.

What’s New?
Training sessions for the autumn term 2008 are now available to view and book online. See Training, Development and Online Booking of Courses and refer to your Training and Development Handbook (issued in March) for full details on how to book on line.
All governors should now have their personal copy of the Governor and Clerk Development Programme for the autumn term which contains full details of training sessions available and a booking form for those who prefer to use this method of booking.
GEL Online training opportunity
All governors, clerks and associate members are encouraged to access the online training now available. GEL (Governor East Learning) aims to offer effective and accessible training online. The content of these sessions supports face-to-face training and is not intended to replace the training programme provided by Bracknell Forest Governor Services. Information on GEL and how to register has been sent to all governors and associate members via clerks during the summer.
