What’s New?

All governors, clerks and associate members will shortly receive a personal copy of the PDF Governor Development Programme Autumn 2010 (500kb). This will assist you in planning your own and your governing body's development.

The blend of training courses and briefings has been produced following full consultation with our governing bodies via Link Governors, clerks and members of the local authority. The aim is to provide a programme which will assist all governors to gain the skills necessary to effectively support their schools.

Once you have decided which courses you wish to attend, please refer to your copy of the Training and Development Handbook for Governors and Clerks which explains how you can book on courses, either online or by using the booking form provided.

  • School Attendance Matters
  • Recruiting Safely and Fairly
  • Introduction to Education Finance
