A Retention Schedule for all types of school records. This is a more comprehensive list than that included in our previous advice on records management. Note that there are two areas of major difference in approach - SEN and Health and Safety.

A Records Management Toolkit is available from the Records Management Society website. It includes a brief records management policy for schools.

You can expect further practical advice on records management from the Borough Council, and also new/updated model policies on records management, data protection and FOI.
