Arts at South Hill Park

Open 363 days of the year, South Hill Park is a multi-purpose arts centre for both passive and active experiences in the arts. Over 100,000 visitors, coming from Bracknell Forest and the surrounding areas, visit South Hill Park every year.
South Hill Park currently offers in excess of 240 term-time courses each year across art, music, drama, dance, digital media, and literature. In addition to this, over 160 workshops are offered each year for all ages and abilities covering a wide range of subjects - from taster sessions to master-classes.
The annual programme of performing arts offers over 3,000 events, including music, drama, comedy, musicals, dance and opera by leading local, national and international professional artists and talented new amateur groups.
The galleries host over 30 exhibitions a year across the seven spaces, showing the work of local, national and international contemporary artists in a wide range of media.
Besides the busy regular agenda, South Hill Park promotes special events and festivals such as:
- The Lift Off Dance Festival in March,
- The Children’s International Arts Organisation (CIAO) festival in June
- The summer events; International Circus, Big Day Out and Streetlife
- The craft fair in November

During the summer months the grounds play host to several open-air theatre productions.
The venue also hosts the annual Bracknell Festival of jazz, folk, blues, rock and traditional music in its building, lawns and gardens.
The beautiful mansion at South Hill Park houses a recital room and a Cellar Bar which provides an alternative setting for cabaret, rock and jazz.
The Park Studio is a 48-track recording facility open to all musicians.
