Bracknell Forest Council subleases its fishing rights to local angling clubs. Thames Water and Bracknell Town Council also provide for fishing on a number of sites within the borough.

River Blackwater
The two sections of the River Blackwater, which runs through Bracknell Forest Council land at Shepherd Meadow and at Horseshoe Lake, have now had the fishing rights leased to Hartley Wintney Angling Society (HWAS).
Full permit for HWAS:
- Adults £58.00
- Juniors & OAPs £31.00
Permits for the River Blackwater only for one season:
- Adults £33.00
- Juniors & OAPs £16.00
Day tickets:
- Adults £10.00
- Juniors& OAPs £10.00
Please note that permits for the River Blackwater cost an additional £20.00 for new members registering as adults and an additional £10.00 for new members registering as a Junior, OAP or registered disabled.
