Wildlife Surveying

Bluebells at Ambarrow CourtThe Parks and Countryside Service is looking for enthusiastic people to carry out wildlife surveys at sites throughout the Borough.

No previous experience is required and you can be involved as much or as little as you like from casual recording to regular site monitoring. This is a good opportunity to gain experience towards a conservation career or simply learn about how wildlife is fairing in your area.

The information we gain from surveys helps direct the management of our parks and countryside sites towards maximising their value for biodiversity.

Survey information packs are available by contacting the Biodiversity Officer.
