Look at some of the performers from Lift Off 2009

A regular dance class on Sunday afternoons during term time led by Di Ruddick and Rebekah Slater, which takes place at the Priestwood Youth Centre.

Dancewise - 12 noon to 2 pm.
For young people from year 4 (ages 8/9) to year 8 (12/13).

United! - 2pm to 4 pm.
For young people from year 9 (13/14) to 21 years of age.

Both groups are fun and lively and involve doing a warm up to make sure the body is ready for dance, learning different styles and creative routines in a range of dance styles such as street dance, jazz, contemporary and modern.

  • Fees must be paid before the start of each term (they work out as £3.25 per week)
  • No dance experience necessary.
  • 1st session free to newcomers.

All attendees must complete the consent form (on the right bar on this page) and bring it with them to their first session each term.

Calling all Dance Teachers

  • Would you like to join the Creative Network?

The Creative Network is a joint initiative between the Council and South Hill Park, and organises opportunities for practioners to network and exchange information about their professions. We are looking for dance teachers who either live or work in Bracknell, as residents often contact the Council looking for classes or teachers. Please contact us for more information.
